MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him enter mainstream Latin music. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in the year 2017. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He dropped Dopamina the chart-topping second album, in the years following. The year 2021 was the first time he performed in a duet with TINI to perform her streaming song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were also musicians. According to Turizo, music was an integral aspect of his daily life. While a boy was in school, he took saxophone and guitar. The first goal was to be a vet, but after his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons with an Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
