Angelica Panganiban - a Filipino American presenter on television, model and actress is an American comedian. Panganiban is dubbed the "new queen of Drama" by many media publications. Her name is also acknowledged as being one of the Philippines' most experienced and diverse actors. Her condition became severe and she experienced multiple organ failure, including her kidneys which did not recover. The new norm was not peritoneal but hemodialysis. After spending over 80 days in hospital, she went from being near death to a long recovering path. Angelica's entire life was altered after her dialysis for kidneys. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mom. Angelica, along with her mother, went through an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were close to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston.
